THE STORY BEHIND HAZEL’S BALANCED BOWLS
Hazel’s Balanced Bowls Inc. was founded by Jenika Semple, a Certified Canine Specialist, Veterinary Assistant, and Certified Pet Nutritional Coach.
But before there was a business, there was Hazel.
In 2025, Hazel experienced a serious and life-threatening health crisis that changed everything.
During Hazel’s recovery, Jenika became deeply interested in the relationship between nutrition, whole-food feeding, lifestyle, and overall pet wellness. She spent countless hours researching veterinary literature and holistic approaches while learning more about how nutrition could be used as one part of a broader approach to supporting a pet’s well-being.
That experience became the inspiration behind Hazel’s Balanced Bowls Inc.
Today, Jenika’s goal is simple:
To help pet parents understand their pets’ nutritional needs, feel confident in the choices they make, and discover practical ways to support their pets through thoughtful nutrition and wellness.
